What have Qing Cables Ltd actively done to limit our impact on the planet?
2015: 10KW Solar Panels installed
2016: LED Lighting Installed
2016: All Polythene / Wood / Cardboard is recycled
2016: All toner / print cartridges sent for recycling / re-use.
2019: Zero waste to landfill implemented
2019: New accounts software reduces amount of printing / paper used. All invoices now emailed.
2019: Clean flat cardboard now shredded to re-use for packaging and help minimise any damage in transit.
2023: 100% of our company cars are now electric
2024: Implemented a policy to further reduce plastic packaging used in and around our cable reels.
2025: CIBSE TM65 Embodied Carbon figures are being collated for all products.
2025: Move to larger premises which will reduce raw materials / energy on site
2026: Solar Panels planned for later this year with battery storage
2026: Installation of insulation where none previouslyy existed to reduce energy used.
2026: Removal of gas heating, moved to aircon units which will run from planned solar / battery.
