We have looked into this matter and our understanding is that as we are not in any way part of a group structure, and do not have an annual turnover of £36m or more we are not legally required to produce a statement.
However, Qing Cables Ltd confirms that slavery, servitude, forced labour or human trafficking is not taking place in any part of its business, nor any part of it’s supply chain.
Qing Cables has established from our manufacturers/suppliers that the only mineral
used in our products is tin.
The tin does not originate from the Democratic Republic of Congo or an adjoining
country (e.g Angola, Burundi, Central African Republic, Rwanda, South Sudan,
Tanzania, Uganda or Zambia) and is not derived from recycled or scrap sources.
The smelters used in the refining of tin are sourced exclusively from the Conflict-Free
Smelter (CFS) Compliant Smelter List
