Alarm Flex
Wide range of Alarm cables to BS4737.
– Type 1 – pure copper conductor / low conductor resistance – LSZH throughout
– Type 2 – pure copper conductor / low conductor resistance – LSF / PE / SWA
– Type 3 – CCA conductor / higher conductor resistance – LSF / LSZH / PE
Type 1 and Type 2 must be copper, and have a Conductor Resistance <100 ohms/km
Type 3 tends to be CCA (Copper Covered Aluminium) and has a higher Conductor Resistance <155 ohms/km, which will mean the distances it can be used will be reduced.
